Thank you to all our parents who came along to our first 'Stay and Play' of the school year. It was lovely to see you all in pre-school and we are really looking forward to being able to welcome you in again soon for some more play.

We are hoping to be able to make these a regular part of our pre-school calendar again, so if you weren't able to make it this time, don't worry there will be other opportunities to come along and join in.

We are strengthening our hands and fingers to get ready for writing, we are doing this by joining in with a 'Dough Disco' each day. We pinch, splat, roll, pass and make doughnuts with our dough to music. If you have some play dough at home why not ask your child to show you what they can do.

A UK-wide survey has been launched by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent to help improve early childhood – and she wants your views.

The survey contains five short questions and  it “aims to spark a national conversation on the early years that will ultimately help bring about positive, lasting change for generations to come”.

It is designed to gather the thoughts of as many people as possible – recognising that everyone has a role in ensuring strong, healthy foundations for the youngest in our society that will positively affect their lifelong outcomes.
