Today the Digital Leaders had the opportunity to try out Chrome Books. The school is considering how to replace some of the old laptop computers. All the Digital Leaders were impressed by the Chrome Books and noted the following points:
- they are small and light weight
- can be used like a tablet or a lap top
- they are touch screen
- they are much faster
- they are waterproof
- they are shock proof
This information was relayed back to Mrs Robertson and used to help make the decision that the school would order a set of 10 Chrome Books. FOLS have kindly funded this purchase. This now means that the children at Lympsham Academy have access to lap top computers, iPads and Chrome Books.
