The Griffins’ Tribe
It’s been chanting and hand dancing in the Griffins’ class this week.
In literacy we have been thinking about different tribes and how
they told their stories to each other which passed down through
the generations by word of mouth, each generation making the
stories even more fabulous and exciting until they became legends
or myths. We made our own head dresses and earnt feathers for
each of our goals.
We also discovered that the UK has its own fair share of legends and
Myths from Nessie in Scotland right down to the beast of Bodmin
Moor.
In music we have been working on our pitch and using hand movements
to think about hi, middle and low sounds.
