Don't forget to check class pages for news about our recent school trip to Burnham On Sea linked with our topic question 'What can we see and hear?'. Places of interest we visited included the RNLI on the sea front, The Catholic Church known as Our Lady and the English Martyrs, St Andrew's Church. We had lunch on the beach and managed to do some sketching and building castles on the sand! We also spotted the different lighthouses in Burnham, the smallest Pier in Great Britain and paid a visit to the tranquil spot Marine Cove.
Mrs Robertson was told by the RNLI that the children were all so polite, engaged and well behaved which made all the staff very proud. In both Churches members of the congregation again praised the calmness and behaviour of the children.
It was a really enjoyable day with many memories to take back to school and explore further.
Thank you to everyone who supported this school trip.
