As you can see our country dancers looked absolutely stunning at Wells last Saturday afternoon in their bright new costumes (thanks to Mrs Barradas). There were lots of very positive comments from onlookers about the new outfits in the rainbow colours. A teacher from another school said we had inspired her to re-think the costumes for her dancers.
We enjoyed the parade up through Wells to the Cathedral Green and were having great fun dancing when unfortunately the weather took a severe turn for the worse! With torrential rain and lightning we had no choice but to abandon the festival. The children however, were absolute superstars and danced their hearts away despite the rain.
We hope to have better luck at the Church Fete in the Manor Gardens on 25 June and at our own School Fayre on 9th July. Please come and watch us! Thank you to Mrs Kail-Dyke for her hard work in preparing the dancers and to Mrs Barradas for making all the costumes. Thank you also to all the parents who supported this event.
